Michele Shiflett
Psychological Thrillers Rooted in Moral Ambiguity
Michele Shiflett believes the most compelling stories aren't about villains—they're about ordinary people forced to make impossible choices. Her Southern psychological thrillers blend moral complexity, atmospheric tension, and unforgettable characters. Drawing on her background in Marriage and Family Therapy and years of story development, she writes fiction that explores loyalty, identity, and the cost of survival, asking difficult questions without offering easy answers. A lifelong creative with a curiosity for almost every storytelling pursuit, Michele's work spans screenwriting, story consulting, ghostwriting, children's literature, and fiction. She also developed *Reel Shorts*, a 90-second film platform originally launched in Hong Kong and now gaining momentum in the United States. Known for her precise story structure and psychologically rich characters, she is preparing to release her debut novel, *SHEEP*. When she's not writing, Michele enjoys working with young creatives through arts programs and camps.
